We all call this Earth our home, regardless of where on a map we land. That is why we’ve evolved past the idea of simply being a clean beauty brand and hold ourselves to the Reme Ethos.
Together, we have the power to unify our efforts and beautify a better future for future generations to come. By holding ourselves to these standards, we hope to lead this revolution in the beauty industry and inspire everyone to make thoughtful choices in their day-to-day lives.
Here is how we're doing our part:
conscious chemistry
When we formulate our products in the lab, we're not only taking into account your experience and the way these products work alongside your skin. We're firm believers in the sourcing of ethical and renewable ingredients. Whether natural or synthetic, we only partner with eco-forward and responsible manufacturers and suppliers who align with our values.
Where possible, we prioritize sustainably sourced ingredients following green chemistry principles, such as upcycled ingredients from other industries, leveraging lab-grown plant biotechnology to reduce and eliminate waste and pollutants.
Every last drop of Reme is 100% cruelty-free and vegan through PETA.
Sustainable Packaging
We're constantly looking for ways to keep our packages far away from landfills. One of the ways we're doing this is by taking old plastic and transforming it into something gorgeous and new.
Any virgin plastic we create is blended with recyclable materials for higher stability. As we work towards beautifying the future, we pinky promise that we'll continuously test and source reusable, refillable, renewable raw materials to package Reme without sacrificing quality or safety.
Currently, each Reme product is packaged using post-consumer recyclables (PCR) that can be partially or fully recycled (always check with your local recycling centre).
Our cartons are FSC certified with 100% recycled paper and printed with renewable soy-based ink.

Plastic-neutral: Circular Economy
The plastic we put out in the world is the plastic we promise to clean up. We know it's not the perfect solution, but it will help us not add more to the plastic problem. So we've partnered with rePurpose Global Plastic Neutral Coalition to stop ocean-bound plastic waste from leaking into Indonesia's coast, protecting its biodiversity by converting them into pallets and contributing to a circular economy.

Climate Neutral
Cutting our carbon footprint is the most impactful way we know how to contribute to climate change. That is why we're working hard to calculate our carbon footprint throughout every stage of our product's life cycle. From raw material sourcing, manufacturing, processing, and shipping to delivering the product into your hands.
This careful calculation will allow us to steadily reduce our carbon footprint in every aspect as we work towards becoming Climate Neutral in 2024.

Biodiversity Conservation
Reme loves friends who love the planet. That's why we'll be announcing exciting partnerships with water, land or animal biodiversity protection initiatives in 2024.
In the meantime, we want to note that all our formulations containing palm-oil-derived ingredients are Roundtable on Sustainable Palm Oil (RSPO) Mass Balance certified; check what that means here

Hi Everyone,
Reme is finally here!
I've been on a mission to craft highly eco-conscious beauty products that were effective and felt phenomenal. I hoped they could be the catalyst that inspires people to choose consciously-made beauty products that make them feel great and inspire other beauty companies to follow suit.
When we make good choices for ourselves, we bring that energy into every aspect of caring for the world. I understand that a beauty brand may not save the world, but I hope these products are a significant step forward in changing our minds.
