Yen
Yen is an innovative solution thinker passionately driven by purpose because she believes that you can do well by doing good. An inspiring quote from a former CEO she has lived by throughout her professional career. She is a One Young World Ambassador who is motivated to create a lasting impact on this planet. Her education in chemistry, years of research in beauty science and her experience working for a global science-based company, DSM, have provided her with the necessary skills to solve problems with science and business development.

Mindful Ingredients
When we formulate our products in the lab, not only do we consider your experience and how our products will work on your skin. We consider the sourcing of ethical and renewable ingredients. Whether it’s naturally derived or synthetic we only partner with eco-forward and responsible manufacturers and suppliers who align with our values.
We’ve joined the PETA-certified animal test-free and vegan program. Which means all our products are always 100% Cruelty Free and Vegan.
Where possible, we prioritize sustainably sourced ingredients following green chemistry principles such as upcycled ingredients from other industries, leveraging lab grown plant biotechnology (cell culture and bio-fermentation) to reduce and even eliminate waste and pollutants.
Sustainable Packaging
In the beauty industry, plastic packaging is most often the best and most available option and that is why we’re still using it.
We thought how can we make sure we’re doing our best in keeping our packaging waste away from the landfills as much as possible.
We thought about what better way to take old plastic and repurpose them into new packaging!
Our packaging is made of post-consumer recyclables (PCR), which can be fully or partially recyclable (we recommend you check your local recycling).
We produce virgin plastic in combination with recyclable materials for better stability.
Silver Medal Certified
All our formulations are compliant with the Australian and European Cosmetics Regulations. See the banned list here and what we formulate without.
We always keep our planet and people in mind in everything we do.
We only partner with eco-forward manufacturers and suppliers who share the same values when it comes to sustainability, ie harvesting or manufacturing our ingredients and products. Where possible, we always opt for sustainably sourced ingredients from nature or tested laboratory engineered ingredients.

OCEAN WASTE:
plastic-neutralWe know plastic offsetting is not the perfect solution and we work on alternative ways to reduce our plastic footprint. We know this partnership will help us reduce what we’re currently producing and not add more to our plastic problem.
For the 100% recyclable virgin plastic we produce, we will be responsible for removing the same amount of plastic waste from the oceans (by weight in kg). Stay tuned for our Ocean Waste Plastic Offset Program to be announced in 2023. -
Climate
NeutralReducing your carbon footprint is the most impactful way in contributing to climate change, not only through your daily commitment but as brands we measure the entire carbon footprint of the product’s life cycle from raw material sourcing, manufacturing, processing, shipping, and delivery to you.
We are currently setting up our carbon emission’s life cycle calculation. Although, we aim to be Climate Neutral in the coming years. -

A Personal note

Hey Guys,
About 4 years ago, I had an a-ha moment at a global sustainability conference that motivated me to quit my corporate job not long after and started #Reme, it all started during the Covid. Why? I wanted to make a lasting impact doing what I love.
We as consumers have the power to determine our future; whatever we purchase, companies will make more of it. What is on the shelves is a reflection of our desires. Suppose sustainable-green-eco-friendly beauty products produced today were more sensorial, enjoyable and fun to use than they are now.
